Hi all..

Anyone know why "View Options" pane (particularly the "Show item info") does not sticky, Quite often the "Use as Default" button is not universal across the Finder at all..

eg. What settings you've applied to "HD' is different when viewing your Home folder, and all other folders (Downloads, Documents), since these must be set for each folder (excluding Applications for some reason)

Is there a way to make this universal, and not have to do this across two folders or more ? Maybe trash .com.finder ?

If you want a universal view there is a script out there (google should find it for you) that applies view settings to all sub folders so just go to your root folder and use that.

No, it isn't. It should work for all folders within the one you are editing, but not even any of those if you have edited their settings manually in the past.
