View options??

I have just installed os9, and upon, booting into os9 and then back to 10.3.4 my view options are all mixed up, how can i apply view options globally, that stick, i tried to use cocktail to delete all ds_store files but it seems to only delete one at a time. Any pointers, as i don't want to go through each folder, then view options, and select all windows setting...
