Is there nowhere to view your steps on the actual watch?

I know you can via the activity and health apps on the iPhone but would be more handy doing it on the watch.

I really wish the step count was dynamic though, like the fitbit.

Me too. I'm frequently having to balance a step goal and a time constraint. As in: "I've only got a couple more minutes, should I go back to my office or do I still need a few more steps?"

I'll look, and it's the same number it was five minutes ago, so I have to wait for it to update. Annoying.

There could have been a complication just for steps, with a visible number counter right on the watchface.

I'm sure someone will make one for WOS 2 though.

That would be awesome!!

What do you mean by "dynamic?"

Definition - Dynamic: (of a process or system) characterised by constant change, activity, or progress.
"a dynamic economy"

Basically I want the steps to count as I take them, at present there is a lag between activity, steps taken and the count as it shows on the watch and/or iPhone.

Oh, I was not aware that the AW did not update steps in near-real-time. That would be kind of nice to have.

Not sure! Maybe I would look once at it just to see how accurate it was and then never again. It updates every five steps or so anyway. I just wouldn't walk around looking at my watch to see how the number of steps change.
