View Whole GMail Email?

Whenever I get a GMail alert, it shows a few lines and that's it... Is there any way to read an entire email on the phone? Can you only do it with the native Mail (apple) app?

I assume you meant read an entire email on the watch. Unfortunately as of now you cannot, maybe in watchOS 2 when third-party apps get native support, but the only way you can see a full email is through the native Apple mail app.

Try CloudMagic or Spark. Either one allows you to read more than the native mail app.
