How can I confirm that my watch is connected to 5G?

An article on a competitor's website is trying to convince me that I'll see this on Control Center. They even have an image of this on their article. But I'm not totally sure this is a genuine image. I've been unable to duplicate this on my own watch, even after turning Bluetooth off.

Anyone, please help me show whether my AWU3 is using 5G.

Thank you in advance.

Yes, my provider is T-Mobile and I have a T-Mobile watch line.

The image is correct: The symbol will turn green indicating an active connection and when you tap on it it will say connected under status. If it says anything else like no sim then it’s not connected. It will only ever attempt a connection when out of Bluetooth range and disconnected from the iPhone. That’s why you aren’t seeing a green symbol as you are connected to the iPhone.

Got it!!

Well, not 5G at the moment, but at least I know how to force the Apple Watch to use cellular. I had tried this before though. Last time it did not work.

I could be wrong but I don't think turning off bluetooth is enough. I think the watch will also connect to known wifi networks even if not connected to your iPhone. So maybe disabling both bluetooth and wifi may work better. I am only guessing though.
