Hi guys
Getting a new 27" iMac soon
Wondered about the best viewing distance,
I use reading glasses and when I was last at the Apple store looking at the 27"
Starting to think I may need another set of glasses just for the computer?
When I was at the store, I think I was getting too close to the screen
Regards,
Gary

There's no one answer to that question. It differs for everyone. I put mine as far back as my desk will let me, which is only a couple of feet.

There's always the option of increasing text size or scaling the resolution down to help see a bit better.

Thank you,

I should have mentioned that the main use of the iMac will be for extensive image editing, sorry!

I have a set of reading glasses specifically focused to 32 inches, for computer use only. It makes staring at the screen for a long period easier on the eyes, at the expense of having to change glasses to actually read printed docs, etc.

Hi there,
That sounds like the best solution,
Appreciate the input
