Sorry for such a basic question... there is an animation I would love to see at H2opia but of course, it is a .exe file.
Is there an easy way to watch this with Mac applications? I've tried my Quicktime, iTunes, Realplayer.... but they don't want to come to the party at the moment.
You can extract the flash files and various other files by using an app called File Juicer. You can then view the .swf file in your browser or, oddly enough, the same company created iSwiff which plays .swf files independently.
(Supposing you download the hi-quality english one, the file that is extracted with the video is called H2PIA_Animation_ENG_high.exe-2.swf)
Yeah, I'd love them to get work on the hydrogen thing NOW... the Hirsch report to the US DOE said we are about to hit peak oil, and societal preparations and mitigation strategies are about 20 years behind. Hence the cheery message on my signature.
