Viewing Images from Outside iPhoto in Front Row

After doing a few brief google searches, I discovered some Front Row work-arounds I had already implemented myself by accident. Firstly, I installed both Perian and Flip4Mac in order to view various codecs. Secondly, I learned that the Movies folder was the only non-iTunes directory that Front Row indexes.

However, I didn't find any advice on how to view photos from within Front Row. I tried placing some .jpegs in the Movies folder, but Front Row regarded them as movies--playing a single frame for a moment and then exiting the file.

So, I'd like to know how to view non-iPhoto images from within Front Row.
