I can't figure out how to view the refresh rate for my 4k monitor. I want to know it as I have just 'upgraded' from an older HDMI cable which apparently only supported 30hz@4k, to a newer one that should support 60hz.

I found this article with a couple of suggestions:

https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/328326/how-to-view-monitor-refresh-rate-in-macos

Holding down option in display preferences does show the hidden 'identify windows' button, but not refresh rate. Also the displays page in System Profile does not show the refresh rate as stated (either for the internal screen or external monitor.)

Surely this must be possible? I know Apple are continually dumbing down macOS for iPhone users but this is ridiculous.
