viewing photos from a cd

Howdy ya'll

I have a DVD with 1,000 photos on it and due to lack of hard drive space I do not have the ability to move the photos into iPhoto or even onto my HD for that matter. Is there anyway I can just view the photos of of the DVD (bigger than the finder preview)? ...is this a dumb question?

browse to the dvd in finder, then go to the picture and open it in preview/photoshop?

I found a very nice app called Caffeine Browser about half an hour ago that it perfect for this. I'm viewing images from a CD right now...

I need to be able to scan through them pretty quickly. Is there no other way to do this?
