Hopefully someone can help, spent the best part of a day trying to figure this out... I'm using Mountain Lion on my 2012 MBP.
I know the windows share is working OK as other windows PC's can view it ok, but I click on 'Browse' from the 'Connect to Server' menu in Finder it does not find anything...
I've tried connecting directly to it by using SMB://IPAddress/New (new is the folder name) and also SMB://Darren-PC/New but it can never connect.
I've also tried pinging the IP Address from Network Utilities on my mac and it doesn't get a response.
I'm at a loss - any ideas??
