How come I can find videos easily on my iMac but nothing will show the same on my touch?

Are certain videos just blocked using the touch's youtube connection?

No, but for videos to be available on the iPod and iPhone, it requires them to be converted from FLASH to H264, this takes time, and the more popular and older video is, the more likely it is to be converted and some new ones are automatically converted. However, explicit content videos are not available because your ID is not tied to the device so you can't login to confirm your age.

I know - it's annoying!

But something I've done is download TubeTV (via Apple.com) which downloads and converts any YouTube video to save on your iPod and watch later.

Well mostly I am after official videos from universal music group but I can't get them to show up. Same search on my iMac returns either no results or wrong results on the Touch

Not explicit ...
