Does this happen to anyone else ?

In Finder, the list, and Colum views are "broke" in one word or another.

They do not show the thumbnail of a PDF,

All other views are fine........ The issue happens from any folder.

I don't get why they appear just fine in downloads "stack" but on in Finder since i'm sure the thubnail's come from the same place.

I've tried unchecking/checking "Show icon preview" in view options, removing cache folder(s), System configuration, and tried another account.

Same issue in there too.

Apple tells me its just the way it is, which is bizarre...... Why would thumbnails not appear in certain views, for certain files ? This sounds like a bug to me.

It's just always been like that for me. I've found that it'll only show the icon preview if I've used quicklook to view the file first in some views
