So for awhile I've been using a Viewsonic (VA2248m-LED) monitor hooked up to a 2010 13" macbook pro.

And I do a lot of image editing (just a hobby) but I've noticed I can get my Viewsonic so close to looking like my macbook pro's screen I just can't get them to really match. I've used the built in monitor calibration tool from system preferences many times but I still can't get them as close as I'd like.

Now I know you'll never be able to get them to match perfectly it just seems like I should be able to get them closer in comparison to each other.

Any suggestions? Thanks.
