I have a 2009 24in iMac, and a 2010 27 in iMac.
I have a 22 inch ViewSonic monitor.
When the monitor is hooked up to the 24 mac, it turns on just fine.
When the monitor is hooked up to the 27 mac, it does not come on.
It takes numerous (3 - 8) times to turn if off and on with the monitor on-off switch before the monitor will come on.
This must be repeated every time the computer goes to sleep.
The monitor works fine, once it is on. It is getting aggravating in the extreme to get it on.
Any help, short of a hammer?
