Viewsonic VX4380-4K or LG 43UD79-B?

I'm in the market for a 4K 42 inch monitor and tossing up between these two. The Viewsonic is $900AU and the LG is $1100AU.

Thanks, yeah I think I will. Do I have to run any additional software on my mac to support FreeSync?

That 4K looks amazingly sharp and it's impossible not to see the difference or that in a regular living room, with a regular sized screen, you really won't see much of a difference.

I went with the LG because just about every tech channel on YouTube reviewed it and it's got better speakers and inputs. I've also got an AMD card so it comes with FreeSync. And it comes with a remote too which the Viewsonic doesn't.
