vintage IMac G4 video output question

I have an old G4 iMac , the lamp, with a 700 mhz processor and a 15" screen. My wife was using it but now we have traded.

My question is: can I output through the mini video output to my 19" monitor? Would it extend the desktop?

Sadly you can only mirror your onboard display on that iMac.

Forget screen spanning docter dont work

you can extend it if screen spanning docter will let it
on the site it says all the computers that will work for it and the ones that dont,

Look ^ But why would they make a thing for external monitors if it only can mirroir whats the point to that, the resoultion will be crap on the external.

Presentations, display to a TV etc.

The iMac was aimed at the education market where teachers need to guide students via an overhead projector or TV.
