I managed to get a turntable to play via airplay. This will work with the Homepod.
Probably but until the HomePod is released we can't know for sure. A bigger question is related to the belief that analog vinyl somehow sounds (subjectively only) better than digital (and I own about 1000 LP's). So how does converting the analog signal to digital play into this? Seems like a lot of trouble/inconvenience to go through to end up with the worst of both analog AND digital combined.:D:D:D

I agree this isn’t the optimum for sound quality. There is something satisfying about thumbing through records and then putting them on a turntable.
