Hi, I've been looking over the numerous threads on converting vinyl to digital. Basically I'm hoping to help my dad out with his 600+ LP collection as a birthday present, but I wanted to set him up so he can do this on his own too. I've got a MBP with garageband and all that, so that wouldn't be hard at all, but he's got an old 500Mhz G3 iMac, and no garageband, so I've gotta find some software that'll still run on that old a computer.

CD Spin Doctor was looking perfect, exactly what he needs, except the System Requirements call for at least a G4. http://www.roxio.com/enu/products/spindoctor/requirements.html

Do you think there's any chance it might still run on this iMac? It does have 576mB of ram. Any other software suggestions would be greatly appreciated, i'm having trouble finding older software that isn't as demanding on the hardware.

Thanks a lot!
Jeff
