VIP4 restore probs

so i gotta restore the new white VIP4 i just bought. and ofcourse i cant do it regularly (itunes would want to update it too 4.2.7). so its on 4.2.6 now, and i dled the 4.2.6 fw. i do the option+restore...and it gives me an error after a couple min saying

this device isnt eligible for this build blah blah blah.

dont get it?
