ViPhone shipped from West Chester PA via UPS

I found this strange since Apple almost always ships Fedex. Mine is being shipped by UPS and is already in transit in West Chester PA.

This is great news for me becasue I live in NYC and getting a signature-required package via fedex can be a nightmare, UPS is much easier in this respect. I'm also shocked the phone is so close already and is in transit, if it is actually being released I might get it early next week.

Anyone else with a UPS ship?

There are many members that have been posting on here saying that theirs is being shipped UPS. It sounds like it may have something to do with either location or the time of initial order. From the sounds of it, most of us have reported that Monday will be delivery day.

do people on Orange, call it the OiPhone, or the AT&T people it the AiPhone.

No, apple deals with many carriers world wide and everyone calls it the iPhone
 
Did you guys with a ship date order on apple.com or verizonwireless.com?

I ordered from apple.com at just after 3am so I should be one of the first orders and mine still just says "prepared for shipment" on Apples site under order status..
 
Either I just wanted a iphone or I'm a complete loser I woke up at 230 est to order from vzw site..
 
Mine coming UPS as well...

Looks like the phones were already pre-staged in the US somewhere and not shipping from overseas as some have speculated. I got a tracking number email from UPS overnight that shows an origin scan in West Chester, Pa. which is only about an hour from where I live. Unless they're holding them in a UPS facility before the 10th, I should have this phone no later than Monday, if not today.

For those of you trying to determine ship order, etc... my order number was just over 6000 and I got mine through at about 3:05 AM Eastern yesterday through the Verizon Wireless site (got to use my $100 New Every Two Discount!)

I'll keep tracking, I may actually see this phone at my doorstep tonight!

Ordered on Verizonwireless and mine is being shipped Fedex from Memphis. Estimated arrival 2/7.
 
I would love it if Apple completely changed to UPS. I have had some awful experiences with FedEx.

today.. my number is 1605, ordered at 2:50am on 2/3.

I live in CT and my iPhone is coming from West Chester, PA via UPS. The only issue is I am not at home right now, and they require a signature. I will be miffed if I miss is and have to wait until Monday!!:eek:

If you miss it call you local ups and have them hold it for pickup. Mine stays open until 9 pm so here's hoping for delivery today.

That is what I have to do as well. Pick up from the UPS facility which is 1 mile down the road from my work place.
 
Im In Westchester county NY ....so my package is also coming from West Chester,PA....I'm guessing the tri state orders are all coming from there?

My origin scan is 8:21pm last night but there is no other information--not ETA no weight, no size and no other updates, just the origin scan. Is this the case for others whose iphones are being shipping from PA to NY/NJ/CT?
 
Mine's coming from Westchester PA too.. I ordered mine around 3am. I hope if I don't get it today I will get it tomorrow..

So far that's mine too but someone posted they had an eta of Monday already and someone else called and was told today. I think the PA shipments are either for the northeast region or they're for people who ordered from verizons website
 
I'm still trying to figure out what this "ViPhone" is. I know of the iPhone on Verizon, maybe thats what the OP means. But I'm sure that there is no ViPhone, a VziPhone, or even a Verizon iPhone.
Eh...who knows.

Agreed. Can't stand how some people want to blend the name like celebrity couples. It is bad enough to do it for people, but even worse for the iPhone on Verizon.

Mine is also West Chester, UPS

it only has origin scan of like 7 pm last night on the website check,

But email notification says it's in transit
 
In the main thread on the home page someone claimed to have called the Westchester, PA UPS depot and they stated no phones will be leaving today. All are slated for Monday delivery.

I believe it. I don't think anyone, regardless of carrier will see an iPhone today.
