First off, I am new to the forums and I recently just bought my first ever iphone on the virgin mobile/sprint network. Now I've been experiencing some unpleasant data problems which leads me to my question. I know that the iPhone is locked to a CDMA network and can only be used as GSM overseas, but I heard that if you jailbreak it there is this new unlock software that will allow it to accept SIM cards inside the US. Idk how many of you actually have the virgin mobile phone and are even interested in this thread, but if you have any sort of knowledge with this type of thing please help me shed some light on it. I recognized this site to be one of the largest Mac discussion forums, which is why I joined in hope of an answer. Thank you in advance!
