Virtual keypad blocks sign in on Facebook

Upgraded iPad Air 1 to latest version of ios8. Now the screen is set so that when I try to enter my facebook id and password the key pad covers the text boxes for name and password. It is a pain. I think the key pad blocks several other apps as well, but I can't think f them now.

Thanks for any help.

It's got to be a bug. The same thing happens to me when sending photos on message app and I've seen it happen in other apps as well.
