I got a time of 346seconds which is equivalent to a 700MHz P3! So the computational power of VPC7 seems to be very good!!

Wait, that's a GOOD thing??

your quite lucky. using the system properties in Win98 my 1.5ghz Powerbook came to a 300mhz P3, or was it P2. anyways it was dog slow. didnt run an application i was crossing my fingers for too... the only PC-only app i really need to use.

was a lot slower with XP. after installing XP i had enough and jumped back to 98 :) which is alright.

It has to be faster than Windows 95 running in RealPC running in Classic mode on an 800mhz iBook. It's slower than my old 486 running Win 95, but it's all I've got right now.

On an 800Mhz G4 iBook with VPC 6 running 2000 I got about 330MHz which is pretty similar to the 294MHz that the system properties claims. Funnily enough, it's the same in XP Pro... Of course, 2000 is heaps smoother though.
