I've been toying around with Virtualbox instead of using VMWare. My only need for this to use Quicken since the Mac version is very poor.
The only problem I have it the VM guest recognizing my external hard drive which is formatted with NTFS. When existing Quicken, I have it make a backup of the data file to the external hard drive.
I've tried adding the USB filters and selecting the drive; however, it's still greyed out on the virtualbox bottom bar when your are booted into Windows.
Any ideas? I have been through several threads on the virtualbox forum and it appears to be a fairly common issue.
I appreciate your input.
