In order to run a Windows-based firmware utility I've managed to install a trial version of Windows 7 in VirtualBox 4.3.14 within OSX 10.9.4. I had some trouble figuring out how to install Windows (it came as a .ISO file) in VirtualBox, but eventually figured it out. So now I have the Windows desktop running.
The next hurdle is where do I put/how do I run that Windows utility program (a .BAT and .EXE file). I've created a VirtualBox virtual hard drive, and if it's anything similar to how a disk image (created by OSX's Disk utility) I'm assuming I have to somehow mount it and copy the WIndows software over before returning to the Windows desktop again.
I'm not very used to how things work in Windows, and even less knowledgeable with Virtualbox. The Virtualbox manual is a quite complex geeky thing (to me at least) and seems mostly to address configuration issues. How do I proceed?
