Cost:
$30 for Student copy of Windows 7 Home Premium

Time:
1 hour (installing)

Now, I'm running Windows 7 off of an external hard drive. All I have to do is plug it in, boot it with VirtualBox and then I'm running both OSes simultaneously. It's very pretty.
