Virtualizing newer macOS versions on Monterey?

I'm considering running Tahoe in a VM with macOS Monterey 12.7.6 being the host OS on a M1 MBP 14".

UTM is saying the Tahoe IPSW is unsupported on my Mac, and this alternative app (https://eclecticlight.co/virtualisation-on-apple-silicon/) doesn't work with the IPSW either. Virtual Buddy doesn't run on Monterey at all.

Anyone tried virtualizing newer Mac OS on Monterey and got it working?

Hve you installed the Device Support pkg (Device Support for macOS 26 beta) from https://developer.apple.com/download/ ?
