my ipod 4g white keeps freezing on the homescreen for a couple secounds everytime i unlock the device, i even got it replaced for a new one at apple.. i think it might be a virus in an app i downloaded..

can someone help me findout what app might have the virus?
here are my apps downloaded:

twitter
facebook

tumblr
flipboard
instagram
squaredy

if ANYBODY can help it would be greatly appreciated.. it happens to my new ipod just like it did with my old ipod but running ios 5.0.1 ... and there are NO apps running in the background whenever it happens

-any other advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks:)

I did start it as a new iPod when I got it, I even got it replaced and it still happens to me. that's why it has to be a virus in an app or something

Its not a virus. Apps are sandboxed and Apple would have caught it if anyone tried to be sneaky. Not to mention there are no known viruses for Mac OS or iOS (See GGJ Studios posts for more info).

Also, despite what Hollywood movies suggests, most viruses are never apparent and work behind the scenes and you never know they are there.

Sounds like maybe something is corrupt in your iTunes and its getting loaded on to your device.
