Didn't know where else to post this, so here it goes.
I heard you don't need to install anti-virus software on a mac, but why?
There are viruses for mac, right?

Wrong.

Do a search. There are trojans and proofs of concepts but currently no viruses.

There are Trojans and such. Idk about viruses
(correct me if I'm wrong) But they're not as prevalent as window hacks and require you to Put in your admin password. And (from what I hear) it's pretty obvious too

You can turn on the built in firewall if you want too :)

Just always remember be as safe when downloading pr0n..as you are in real life ;)

There are only two reason to install an anti-malware app on a Mac in my opinion.

1. You download a lot of files of questionable legality. (There have been a couple instances of trojans masquerading as legitimate software on torrent sites.)
2. You don't want to accidentally forward an infected file to a Windows user.
