Does anybody know of some good free virus scanner for my imac G5. I am not particularly worried, but i am a bit paranoid. Thanks.

Is that a no then? I know OSX comes with virus protection for the virtually non-existant viruses out there but...

netdog's post is pretty accurate. all a virus scanner on a Mac will do is detect Windows ones like Word macros (which can admittedly affect Macs too but very very rare) and email attachments.

Alright, thanks....

ClamXav is a terrific free one if you really want to give something a try...it might stop you from passing along a Windows virus to a friend or co-worker, but that's about it.
