Virus?

So, the last few times I've logged into Facebook, several IM chats open up with me having send a couple of my contacts spam. I'm using a mac so I know I haven't installed anything weird, what could it be? I changed my password but I'll see if it continues.

Send Facebook feedback about it, it'll be an issue with their site I expect. The thing never works right and my friends accounts get hacked and end up spamming every now and then.

There aren't any viruses for macs and if you've not installed anything weird/unscrupulous then it's unlikely to be a trojan.

I'd expect it to be a problem with facebook.

Thanks, I haven't entered my password to install anything that I remember, but my Frostwire did download a zip folder called hostiles.txt so I wasn't very sure.
