VISE X installers hangs

Any installer that uses VISE X hangs for me at the beginning, the Searching stage. It is majorly annoying as I can't install a multitude of apps. Has anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm on 10.4.5, iMac G5.
 
This problem sometimes occurs if the Vise X Installer is packed in a .dmg file which is again packed in a .dmg file. If this is the case move the Vise X Installer to a location outside the dmg file. Then it should work.
