I upgraded from an 8+ to the XS last week. I have had the phone for about 4 days. Today I was looking at some images I took over the weekend and noticed flickering in an area of the image (clouds). It wasn’t constant and regular.. it was irregular and kind of pulsed every once and a while. I have sinned noticed in in the setting menu.

I have not had any headache issues.

It looks like the screen is having trouble ‘holding’ a brightness or TT level.

Anyone else?

There are a couple of threads about similar issues already. This is what I've been experiencing on two separate iPhone XS models. I notice it most when I'm watching videos in a darker room. Though I can't precisely figure out the conditions to reproduce. I'm hoping 12.1 fixes it, otherwise it's back to the Genius Bar to hopefully exchange (again).

Thank you. I’m more than glad to take part in a better thread.

I would return it and buy another one. It’s not uncommon for a small number of the millions of phones they make to have issues.

I’ve never noticed any flickering.
