I can’t set up messages because I have contact key verification enabled. Nice miss, Apple.
 
Same, I was very confused by it asking for my iCloud password, yet again, only to be not able to set it up
 
Also this makes no sense given iOS and macOS support it without issue. I’m assuming iPadOS does as well?
