Hey friends,
I’m a power user. Modern computing has not caught up with my needs, but I constantly find ways to make things work. I compose music for orchestras, and work in 3D animation.
I have a 500 TB NAS And 10 GB fiber Internet in my home office. I built a PC with a 64 core thread ripper with a 4090.
For my music work, I prefer to use Mac, because it supports all the DAWs the people I collaborate with use.
The AVP is the first thing that has blown my mind in a long time. I can have my monitor 15’ away and 30’ wide, other apps connected and mix with my hands by looking at a Chanel, pinching my fingers and automate like I’m conducting… while sitting on the beach or a coffee shop with my laptop.
This is the beginning of some game changing tech. Compared to my oculus, It reminds me when the pocket PC was replaced by the original iphone.
I’m really excited to see how this develops, really looking forward to putting on a pair of Ray-Ban’s, and hopping into the VR universe our children will find his normal.
Seriously, well done Apple.
