Vision Pro needs multi-user capabilities for various reasons:
  • It's too expensive to get one for each person.
  • The kids will want to use it all the time.
  • Everyone and their mother will want to try it out.
  • If you give it to someone else you can't see what they are doing while browsing through your data.
  • How do you even unlock it when someone else is wearing it?
If at least there was a guest mode.

Is there any info on that topic from Apple?

Macworld just reported that it does support multiple users. There's a primary user and a guest account. Of course this could change before it's released.

Not a chance. Not even iPad and iPhone have multi user capabilities.
This is a logical fallacy. The Vision Pro isn't an iPad or iPhone. It's an entirely new device, so we don't know what the final product be like. I mean, macOS supports multiple users.

Not gonna happen. The Zeiss correction lenses will make it impractical.
Actually... The lenses attach magnetically, so they'll be easy to remove/swap.

Personally I would rather prefer a Vision Air device, which would connect to the Pro and see what you see. A way to share the experience, but each with their own device. So the Vision Pro could set up a movie screen in front of the sofa and then your spouse/kids/friends can use the Vision Air to watch the movie with you.

This would probably also play well with Apple's greed to sell us more devices so it would be feasible from that perspective as well.
