I've been using the betas of VisionOS2, and have been disappointed that Apple has not ported any more of their own apps over. Calendar and Home seem like they would be straightforward, and Maps seems like it could be amazing if done correctly. I don't use Pages or Numbers, but MS got Word and Excel (among others) already native. Version 2 has some nice improvements, but the platform will be successful or not with native apps. I just don't think Apple is setting a good example here for other developers. Thoughts?

Yep I completely agree. I would have thought this would have been a priority. If they’re planning a vastly improved version for Vision Pro it might explain the delay. But that only seems reasonable for an app like Maps as you said.
