Anyone know if this video card will work in a MacPro2,1?

I saw that the 58xx cards require two 6-Pin PCIe 2.0 plugs, which my Mac Pro has...
Also, the Apple store site says "Requires Mac Pro (Mid 2010) or Mac Pro (Early 2009) with PCI Express 2.0 slot": http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC743ZM/A - does it need to be ATI OEM?
Edit: "...the system has "configurable bandwidth that mechanically supports 16-lane cards [and supports] 300W combined max for all PCI Express slots." (From: http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/mac_pro/stats/mac-pro-eight-core-3.0-specs.html) - but the 5870 requires a 600W PS? Hmmm, damn.
Will it even work at all?
