Here.
Visitor messaging should be set to on by default with registration. I can't find anybody on this forum with it on, meaning I can't chat with them, meaning zero socializing. PLEASE people, set vm's to on. This is how other websites are better than yours. Don't mean that in a mean way, it just is.

If you mean Private Messages then the FAQ tells you you need:

  • At least 5 posts
  • To have been a member for at least one day
  • The recipient must have the option to receive them turned on (I think it's on by default)

I think he means visitor messaging on the profile page itself

Most people don't seem to be all that interested in it and prefer to regulate who talks to them... privacy

Ah okay, I mean VMs.

Besides, shouldn't VMs be used more often? It kinda has MORE of the whole chat system, whereas PMs are like emails that get cluttered up.
