Just thought I'd post a short note to let anyone who is considering loading Windows Vista 64 on a unibody MBP that it works very well. The version of Bootcamp on the unibody Mac OS distribution disk fully supports Vista 64 - no work arounds are necessary. Once I had Vista 64 on the MBP I inserted the Mac OS X distribution disk and Bootcamp started up and worked without issues.

Be aware that the trackpad doesn't work very well under Vista (it is jerky and misses quite a few "tap to click" operations). I think this can be easily fixed with a driver update.

Everything else seems OK.

Yea, it worked for me when I tried but I ultimately went back to Vista Business 32 bit because it seemed to play nicer with VMWare Fusion.
I may try it again later on.

Thanks for the note, but there are already a dozen threads on this topic which can be found with MRoogle. A very handy tool to bookmark.
