Hi,
in an effort to load windows vista into my machine I partitioned my harddrive and put the windows installer into my machine. When I didn't have enough space to load (partitioned 5gbs, needed 6.9 or something) I was unable to remove the disk from the drive for 30 minutes! I looked up these types of forums and couldn't find a solution. Anyway, thought I'd share!

I eventually used the startup manager function:

---Turn computer off, and restart holding down the 'option' key. A screen came up with a picture of my mac harddrive. while still in that screen I pressed the eject button and the vista dvd came out.---

hopefully no one else will have this problem. (holding your mouse while restarting does not work.

I'm more curious why you didn't just boot into OS X and eject it?

...or hold the mouse button down while booting causing it to force eject.
