vista hardware control keys no working

so the hardware control keys, brightness/keyboard light

stopped working all of a sudden in vista

i dont see an option for this in BC control panel, i see an option to allow them to work as function keys and press FN to activate hardware control, but that no workie either

It sounds like your Bootcamp drivers are not installed. The utility comes with the Apple OS CD. I dont know if it is downloadable since I never search for it. With the utility, it comes with the Apple function tools. So I think its either not running on your Vista or not installed.
