Greetings.
This is my first post.
I have an odd issue on my Macbook Pro (removable battery.)

First of all, probably my AC conector is fauty - the part inside the computer which connects to the "T" Model AC Power supply, leaving the battery impossible to charge ("connected, but not charging".)

Also, if I take the battery out, it won't turn on simply by plugging the AC Power only. To do so, I need to do that trick holding the power button for 5 seconds - plugging the ac power supply - keep holding the power button for 5 more seconds, and turning it on again. (when fans goes max).

When I do this I can boot to Mac OSx but when I try to boot to Vista
It halts forever on the loading screen. (I let it load for 3 hours and nothing happened)

I tried all options of the Windows boot (safe mode, safe mode with network....)
All of then halts.

The point is:

- If my battery is charged I'm able to boot to Vista or Mac OSx.
- If my battery is charged and I'm also using the AC Power I still able to boot to Vista or Mac OSx but my battery won't charge ("connected, but not charging" The Battery % doesn't decay when on AC)
- If I take the battery out or if it goes 0%, the computer doesn't even turn on...even with the AC power supply plugged.
- If I do that trick holding the power button (fans maxed), etc.. I am able to boot to Mac OSx, but Vista halts forever on loading screen.

In summary, I can't boot to Vista whenever I run out of battery.

Any fixes or workarounds?

Thanks a lot in advance.

P.S.: The Light on the Ac power is always a really light green.
I'm familiar in disasembling my MacBook Pro.

Crcdisk.sys

Sorry. I forgot to mention that when I try to go for safe mode it loads some files and stucks on crcdisk.sys.
I tryed to Reset SMC, reset the battery, the DPRAM, and pretty much everything I found googling.

I read somewhere that it might be related to the fan system. Since my computer is not recharging its battery and I'm only able to turn it on using that trick which leaves the Fan running on max, It is probable that the Vista part of my system doesn't "understand" why its fan is running that weird way.
Also, I think this particular file crcdisk.sys is somehow denying integration between the operating systems.

So you guys think it's possible to find a Workaround this, or maybe skip this crcdisk.sys process? Or even find a way to manually control the fans over Vista.

Another thing I should add, is that on the "Initialization Disk" tab, over system preferences, doesn't list Bootcamp Partition, whenever I am without a charged battery,
Instead, it shows "Network Initialization", and still unable to restart from there.
This is weird.

I really hope we can find a way out of this or maybe a way to recharge the battery.

thanks again.
