Vista performance

Does anyone know how vista would perform on a sony vaio 2ghz pentium m, 1 gig ram? I believe it is the VGA-A240B model. Would it be laggy at all as I don't want to install it and find I can't go back to xp as I don't have the oem discs.

On a side note, could I use the oem serial located on the bottom on the vaio with say the xp i get though msdnaa if I do decide to go back?

Also, the vaio shipped with office 2003. Could i install this on vista as well or would it count towards the hash count and not work?

given Vista's minimum system requirements, and given many people (including me) are running it very smoothly under Parallels, i'd say your laptop will run it fine.

just one thing. Sony VAIO VGN-A240 series has graphic cards memory of only 64MB, so you won't be able to get AERO.
