Hey all, I'm in the market for a MBP Core Duo (can get a decent price on it), b/c frankly, I hate the look/feel of the Macbooks. That being said, I'm hoping to use it as a gaming machine as well, seeing the one I want has is a 2.16 ghz, 2 gb memory and has the 256 mb video card. Thus, I think BF2 or other games should work fine...my problem is:

Come next Spring, how will Vista run on a 32x cpu like the Core Duo, and will the gaming performance suffer at all b/c it's not DX10? I guess I'm just asking that if I buy a MBP Core Duo now, will it be future proof enough for the next couple of years for Leopard and Vista? Thanks in advance!
