i've got about 50+ icons in my dock at a glance.

anyone have any tricks for visual dividers in the dock to separate different types of apps? graphic, utilities, net, etc.

basically a small png image of a vertical line packaged as an "app" would work perfect.

A quick Google search for 'Mac OS X app divider' threw up these two things that might be useful:

First, some dock spaces created through a Terminal command, so an actual Apple function rather than a third-party solution. Not sure if this works on Snow Leopard though.

Second, some phoney apps which appear as simple lines on the dock. Looks more effective on the 2D dock but would function just as well with the 3D look.

Hope those help!
