Visual Voice Mail Crashing

I have an iphone 4.2.1 (AT&T, not jail broken). I am running iOS 4. For the last 2-3 weeks visual voice mail crashes while listening to messages. Short of reinstalling everything, are there any suggestions? I have tried shutting off the phone and reset settings.

I would try a restore thru itunes.

That's what I was thinking, as a last resort. Just hoping that there was another suggestion.

You try a hard reset by holding home and power together for 20 seconds?
