I have an unlocked iPhone (from the US, 1.1.4) and use it on an O2 Simplicity Contract - so basically not the iPhone tariff...
Since this morning, whenever i get a voicemail, the iPhone adds a number in a red circle to the phone icon in the dock. When i go into the phone application the voice mail icon has a 1 in a red circle - implying there is a visual voicemail. Clicking the voicemail button, i see a flash of the visual voicemail screen and then get transfered to the normal voicemail service on 901. Once i delete the voicemail, this is reflected by the 1 in the red circle disappearing, but the red circle remains both on the voicemail icon and on the home screen on the top right of the phone icon....
Any thoughts? Maybe o2 are enabling visual voicemail for all? or just playing around with the networks...?
