Visual Voicemail on Orange UK

Yes, visual voicemail is available to orange users. I've had it turned on for mine and my wife's iPhones.
I had tried to send the 'iPhone visual' text to 150 as per the instructions here:

But it didn't work. I had to ring customer services, and even then they where confused as half their material said it was available, and the other half contradicted this. The chap on the other end persevered and finally found the correct settings and pushed it to my phone.
It's great having it back - I really missed it having had it on my original and 3G iPhones on O2.

After reading your message, I tried Orange, explained a friend had it but it took some digging to send the correct codes as not everyone had been told..... the chap apparantly talked to 2 team leaders and they said no it was due at the end of the month :-(

I can confirm visual voicemail on Orange is now working, though you have to phone 150 and speak nicely to customer services - texting visual to 150 still results in the message saying it's coming soon. AFAIK, it's only available on iPhone 5 on £36+ plans.

Visual Voicemail on Orange & iPhone 4s working!
It took 2 goes, the first time the Customer support chap hadn't heard of it, he spoke to 2 team leaders who said it might be coming at the end of the month but it def wasn't available yet, despite me saying some already had it working (admittedly I lied on that one I just went of GreatOldOne having it!). Didn't get anywhere so I phone back again after 5, figuring they might have had a change of staff.... This time the 1st live agent tried to find out but admitted he didn't really know much about it, I asked if I could be transferred to tech support as I explained it was a new feature that required a bit of messing about to work, he warned me there was a massive queue but I said I was ok to wait. The 2nd level tech support guy was very good and knew his stuff, said they hadn't officially been told but he put me on hold to chat to some of his back-end buddies... and eventually pushed it out Had a good chat with him.... asked him about trying the text "iPhone Visual" on my wifes to get it working, so he tried it himself on his own phone but it didn't work, but he sounded like he was going to be digging around to get it working! Very pleased to have it working!

As predicted I was told the service is currently NOT available on Orange so I too blagged that a friend of mine had got it. The operative said he would raise it to a level 2 and would call me back in 5-10 mins. He was good to his word and told me the change had now been made to my account and it could take some hours to complete but it would be today. Guess what ? I came off the phone and checked for VVM and it was working straight away !!

The only way to get visual voicemail, according to them, is to upgrade to a 4G EE service (or switch to O2 of course).
